About the RSA

The Road Safety Authority (RSA) works to save lives and reduce serious injuries on Irish roads.

Our vision is a future where nobody loses their life or suffers serious injury on Ireland's roads. This ambition is known as Vision Zero.

Vision Zero recognises that while people make mistakes, those mistakes should not result in death or serious injury. Everything we do — from education and public awareness campaigns to driver testing and road safety initiatives — contributes towards this goal.

Festival activations are an important part of this work. They allow us to engage directly with road users in a relaxed environment and encourage safer choices before people begin their journey home.
