The morning after

Why it's still not safe.

A common misconception is that a night's sleep automatically makes someone fit to drive the next morning. This is not always the case.

Depending on how much alcohol has been consumed, a person may still have alcohol in their system many hours later. Many people caught for drink driving are stopped the morning after drinking.

Remember

If in doubt, don't drive. Planning ahead is always safer than making assumptions.
