How we talk to the public.

The way we communicate is just as important as the information we share. Every interaction should feel:

Friendly

Approachable, welcoming and conversational.

Supportive

Focused on helping rather than correcting.

Respectful

Recognising that people are entitled to make their own decisions.

Positive

Emphasising safer choices rather than punishment.

Human

Real conversations are always more effective than rehearsed speeches.

Remember: people rarely respond well to being lectured. People are far more likely to engage when they feel respected.
